Attended the Lake Tahoe Music Festival – venue- Northstar ski resort.
Michael Bolton was the headliner and he was sensational. Northstar transformed the ice skating rink into a perfect intimate stage and performance arena.
As another beautiful summer night fell, Michael surprised the audience and sang in the middle of the seating for a close up appearance. He got the house rocking  and gave some ladies quite a thrill considering Michael Bolton was voted “Sexiest Man in his 50’s” by “People Magazine”..

What worked so well was the seating, you set something down to reserve your seat and then headed out to find the dinner of your choice. Ranging from a simple plate of fresh cheese,crackers and fruit to sandwiches, barbecue and of course sushi . The restaurants were open and you could purchase a glass or  bottle of nice wine to enjoy through the show. Some attendees decided to grab a couch versus a chair just outside the rink to enjoy the concert.
Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort is one of the finest year-round mountain resorts. This summer all three Lake Tahoe Music Festival concerts took place within the Village at Northstar. You can easily make a day of hiking, biking, golfing, horse back riding, fly-fishing and more.
If an overnight stay is what you are looking for the Ritz Carlton is open and offers elegant rooms and a beautiful spa if you need some TLC they have it all.
As a full time resident of  Incline Village, NV , I enjoy Northstar for its easy access only 20 minutes and the variety of events they host.
