Another great event this weekend!
Join us for Lake Tahoe Shoreline Cleanup Day starting at 9 am on Saturday, September 15th, 2012. Be a part of International Coastal Clean Up Day and The Great Sierra River Cleanup 2012 by participating in the Tahoe Shoreline Cleanup!
Volunteers are needed on foot and in the water to collect trash from Tahoe’s north, east and south shore beaches. 2011’s Cleanup Day was a striking success; 226 volunteers gave their Saturday morning to work around the shoreline of Lake Tahoe picking up litter. The trash gathered from 35 miles of shoreline totaled over 2,584 pounds! Be part of this year’s success and have fun, too! Bring your family, friends or stand up paddleboards for a rewarding morning and you can help Keep Tahoe Blue!
